Knowsley Shakespeare Schools Festival

Shakespeare Schools Foundation (SSF) are to present the world’s largest youth drama festival at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park in Huyton.

People are invited to the schools from 19 to 23 November 2018 for an exhilarating evening, featuring a series of unique abridged Shakespeare productions by our local schools.

You will get the chance to see Shakespeare’s timeless stories brought to life like never before, and support young people from your community as they take to the stage.

Tickets are £9.75/£7.75 and the group rate is £6.50.

 

The Challenge joined two Knowsley schools at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park as the pupils took to the stage to rehearse for the evenings performances.

We caught up with Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, Prescot with their production of Hamlet and St Joseph The Worker Primary School, Kirkby who were rehearsing for Romeo and Juliet.
