Businesses keen to be involved in the redevelopment of Knowsley’s National Wildflower Centre site have been invited to register their interest.
Companies of all sizes, community groups and organisations are being encouraged to devise “new and positive ventures” for the land at Court Hey Park in Huyton.
Knowsley Council has drawn up an Expression of Interest prospectus – which can be found on its website – to outline the opportunities on offer and how businesses can get involved.
The National Wildflower Centre, which opened in 2001 as a millennium project, closed down permanently in February due to financial problems.
A Knowsley Council spokesperson said: “Expressions of interest are being invited from anyone who would like to be involved in the future of the former National Wildflower Centre site at Court Hey Park in Huyton.
“Businesses, both large and small, or community groups and organisations who want to develop new and positive ventures at the site are being encouraged to register an interest in doing so.”
Businesses and organisations wanting to register their interest are asked to visit Knowsley Council’s The Chest website, click on ‘Current opportunities’ and search ‘Court Hey Park’.
